I'd love to have him, but like you said Pack are likely going to franchise him (costs them something like 5.5M in salary) if they can't work out a deal

He had an off year didn't he? I had him in FF and it seemed like most weeks he was a non-factor.

Hard to have an off year in only your second full season (he missed 11 games in 2010). But his numbers yards and TDs were up from his rookie year, even with all the WR options.

The guy is a beast of a TE and his only negative has been injuries. I can't see the Packers letting him get away. But, they have some decisions to make because he isn't the only FA they have to deal with.
