I don't really disagree. My point was that it'd be a major mistake for St. Louis to pass on Suh just because they'd already drafted Carriker (injury-prone and not very productive when healthy) and Long (not very impressive) with #1's.

If they're truly convinced that Bradford or Clausen is a franchise QB, I could see taking either one of them ahead of Suh. To me, Bradford seems the more likely guy to earn #1 consideration, but his trouble with injuries and poise under pressure are worrisome. And you read stuff like this that makes you wonder whether he's truly #1 overall material:
