I just recently finished watching it myself and I agree with your sentiments,it was a very well written show.
I never bothered to watch it on tv but I heard some things so when it became available on netflix the wife and I started watching it.
The only problem with the show from a viewer standpoint is it really needs to be watched from the first episode to the last,if someone popped in for an episode it would be such a turnoff because you wouldn't have a clue what was going on.
Now that the show is available completely on dvd more people who never watched it like myself might be able to find a show that truly was worth the time and enjoy it as much as my wife and I did.


I'm weird in that more often than not I can't watch a show till it is in re runs because I can't commit to the weekly sit down,I was like that with Seinfeld and now I'm so much of a fan of that show now that I own every season on dvd!
