Well Throw That One In The Garbage

Posted 4 Weeks Ago at 11:44 AM by Enigmatic Evil

Collect it, wrap it up and just throw it away. From week one to week seventeen, throw it all in the garbage because how much of it really mattered? Lets start from the top of the gravy train of retrospect.

Shurmur / McCoy: Well, not to write it off after one season but there's legitimate buzz the team is willing to in certain regard. Shurmur's "quarterback knowledge" was a selling point and I ask all of you, especially the supporters, was there any point at all this...

Perpetual Motions

Posted 12-17-2011 at 10:15 AM by Enigmatic Evil

Bernie mentioned how he didn't want this team to become perpetually re-building. Let's take another walk down memory lane, feel free to fact check me here I'm kind of shooting from the hip

Head Coaches: We've had 6 of them...

General Managers: We've had... 5-ish of those.

Presidents/CEO's/Faces: We've had 4 different ones I believe. (According to a quick wiki check, anyway.)

This team has had no STABILITY. Here we find ourselves again at a familiar...

JACOBS Field - August 28, 2011.

Posted 09-15-2011 at 06:55 PM by mikeyP

Kansas City Royals at Cleveland Indians

Jacobs Field, to me was the best ballpark in the entire world. I grew up with the great Indians’ teams of the 90’s. Look into my storage boxes and you will find baseballs with autographs of every Indians player of that decade I obtained from sprinting to the players’ parking lot after every game.

This game was special though. My best friends from high school, my wife, my brother and Mom all sat in the bleachers (my first time...

Wrigley Field - August 22, 2011

Posted 09-15-2011 at 06:53 PM by mikeyP

Atlanta Braves at Chicago Cubs

The bustling urban neighborhood of North Chicago set the tone nicely for the evening contest that would follow. Everywhere shops packed full of people. Shops were jam-packed into the narrowest of corridors that Chicago boasted as “streets”.

To say that I was looking forward to Wrigley Field on our tour of stadiums is an understatement. I ran around with my wife trying, unsuccessfully, to find some of the scenes from my childhood favorite...
