Christian Ponder was 12 of 14 for 167 yards and 4 TDs... in one half. He sat the second half against Samford and the Seminoles won by more than 50. I think his shoulder is healed. |

The bigger story this weekend was the play of Arizona QB Nick Foles: 32/37, 360 yards, 2 TDs, and a pick that caromed off his receiver's hands. Foles isn't very mobile, but he has a rocket arm and what appears to be improved accuracy. If he cuts down on the bad decisions that plagued him last year, he could be a future 1st round pick. |

Seems like it is just about possible NFL prospects, one of which beat up on Samford. Doesn't matter to me though. I am more interested in what is going on now, not what may or may not happen 8 months from now
