This year--I don't remember seeing it in years past--Yahoo has started to break up the games into "Games 1-10" and "Games 11-Whatever." And the division held true last week: games 1-10 were a massacre for favorites, with West Virginia just escaping a humiliating loss to Marshall, double-digit favorite Georgia Tech losing at Kansas, and Virginia Tech getting shocked at home by James Madison (in non top-25 action, Minnesota lost to South Dakota, their second loss to an FCS team in three years--they get USC this week). Games 11-19 were more chalky. Here's what happened this week: Big Winner of the Week: HowieDawg, our resident Brit scored 13 points, 2 clear of the competition this week and good for the overall lead in the contest early on. Shameful Dogs of the Week: Dency's Winners and Make Sweet Love to Michigan's Visage tied with a paltry 6 points each. Here's this week's leaderboard: HowieDawg--13 Jax Buckeyes Pimp--11 Kpolen4--10 Stewartcj1--10 DaBrowns41--10 Thaak--10 The Hammer--10 Mark O--9 Buckeyes 1968--9 Ballpeen--9 Atenears--9 DieHardBrownsFan--8 Ballantyne Boosters--8 Vegas Lou--8 Pryor 4 Heisman--8 Solon16--8 Beanpot--7 Make Sweet Love to Michigan's Visage--6 Dency's Winners--6 And season-to-date: 1 HowieDawg 24 2 Thaak 23 3 kpolen4 22 4 stewartcj1 22 5 Jax Buckeyes Pimp 21 6 DaBrowns41 21 7 ballpeen 21 8 The Hammer 19 9 Mark O 19 10 ATENEARS 19 11 Ballantyne Boosters 19 12 Pryor 4 Heisman 19 13 Buckeyes 1968 18 14 DieHardBrownsFan 18 15 Dency's Winners 18 16 Beanpot 17 17 SOLON16 16 18 Make Sweet Love to Michigan's Visage 13 19 jlowe 10 20 Vegas Lou 8 21 nmills 1 Dennis |

There's no way he could've played that long without learning some vital tendencies about the offense and Drew specifically. Saints didn't account for this. They were flat outcoached today. As for Fujita nice game, but your a brown so I could care less bout you. Hurt to see him sack and intercept Drew. He's a high motor, high character guy... obviously intelligent and remembered your offense pretty well. Thanks for not re-signing him. mikeyP72 View Public Profile Find More Posts by mikeyP72 Arcade Challenge mikeyP72 in the Arcade! The other one, weirdly enough, is Olindo Mare--not that I think we should have kept him. We couldn't afford to keep Fujita (at least not vs. what the Browns paid him), and our defense hasn't been the problem this year, so I don't there's a case to be made that Mickey made a huge mistake letting him go. That being said, he is very much missed. I can't say I am happy for him today, but I will be rooting for him the rest of the year. Your main point--that Scott's seeming ability to know what was coming today denotes some level of complacency by the Saints offense this year--is worth considering. We're not an AFC team, so I don't see how today matters much for you guys at all. Your Browns still aren't going anywhere but golfing during the playoffs.
