Jim Tressel was informed that several Buckeyes players were selling memorabilia more than eight months before the school claims it was made aware of the scheme, a two-month Yahoo! Sports investigation has found.

Not saying this isn't a story without merit or even untrue. But Yahoo! Sports hasn't "found" shit, IMO. "A source?" Really, this is the meat of the story?

Well, we'll see if the coming investigation finds anything. My take? They will drag this thing on for the entire 2011 season and end up with nothing to show for it in the end. Doesn't mean Tressel is innocent, just means there is not enough evidence. You watch.

Well I was wrong about this one. And I think if Tressel would have come clean at the time of the suspensions he would have had a much larger scandal on his hands. He did the wrong thing to keep this from the university, but I for one am glad this came out now instead of a couple months ago. Kind of puts it on the back burner.

But wow, yeah I am surprised this is growing so fast.
