The people at the top ACCOUNT FOR almost 50% of all tax receipts. Nobody said they paid 50% taxes.

But while were at it, I made less money in 2009 and 2010 than I did in 2007 and 2008. Doesn't matter. Know why? My bonuses are taxed at 45%. Taxes suck, and the system we have now takes money from the people and gives it to the government to waste, waste, waste. Damn right I want lower taxes -- for EVERYBODY. Rich want to get richer? Fuck yeah go for it. Tax me less, tax them less, tax everyone less.

Gotta pay for those Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security benefits I will never see.

I am of the opinion that one generation has to suck it up and pay for the mistakes of the past and we are it. I dump a shitload into MC, MA and SS. Never once will I see a return. As long as they abolish these Socialistic programs I don't mind suffering for future generations.

The funny part about that is that Article about Cali you posted. Those same illegals have destroyed that state and people are literally fleeing. I see it up here in northern AZ daily, I see it when I go to Pheonix, see it when I go to Tucson. Car after car after car after car with California plates. They LOVE power, they CRAVE it. Power and control is these sick motherfuckers addiction. A good analogy is the middle school hall monitor. Who takes that job? You're on the right track in thinking sinister forces are in control now. You are correct for the most part, Democrat and Republican are meaningless terms now. They really have been for a long time. It isn't these wealthy business owners per se` that are pulling the strings, though. Remember above I said to keep digging? I'll spell it out for you.

The global banks are running the show. Just like they are running the show over in Europe. Just like they have been running the show since the 1920's, minus a few brief years in the early 1960's but they took care of that problem didn't they? No no, i'm not crazy, I don't see black helicopters and my tinfoil hat is in the shop. No, I just stand back and observe. I observed from outside the left/right paradigm we're told to operate on and observed as a business owner. Dig around on your own, go see for yourself what i'm speaking of.

I'll help you out with the "stop looking at it through Liberal lenses" part too. You know how Wal Mart is the great Satan to the left? Well any large business but especially them. Ever wondered HOW they grew so big so fast? As a business owner I know I wondered, and I looked into it. The Government made them the monster they are. The same Government that Liberals expect to destroy them and save us all. Research it out B-Dubs. It came via the bloated, over sized Corrupt Gov't that has regulations in place for everyone else.

I use that as an example for you. See in a genuine Free Market, Capitalistic Society with decentralized Government? That wouldn't happen. It would be IMPOSSIBLE. They would be on their own in expanding. You know how hard it is to open up ONE new store all on your own? Pretty hard dude. It is impossible for one business to go from one mom and pop store to 100,000 stores on their own, it would take hundreds of years to grow like that. These corporate monopolies lefties hate so bad are a cause of that form of Gov't. Socialized Government BREEDS corruption and it breeds monopolies.

Again, don't take my word for it, go research it yourself. Start with the Socialist Utopia of FDR and take notice of how those with money, power and connections grew while the Government enacted regulations and nationalized the competition. You wanna talk about the haves and have nots? We the people were eating at soup kitchens while FDR nationalized as many jobs as possible and his family was feasting on steaks and caviar.

I don't blame him, there IS more to this than Repubs and Dems...and I think anyone who is maybe just realizing this (I don't think Shep falls into this category, but I could be wrong) is gravely concerned about the direction the country is headed.

Not because of who is President or who is running Congress...but that no one seems to have a real solution. There's lots of mud being flung but NO ONE is presenting a viable solution that represents a hard line that will make this country successful again. No one is not pandering to special interests. This is the government we have created. And I don't think there's any way to change it or stop it.

There is no other country that is better in any way, but it is hard to watch our motherland fall apart. To watch everything our parents and grandparents work for go to India, China, the Middle East.

We have tried to do too much outside our own borders. Worried too much about what other countries are doing and forgot that you have to be strong to help others. And you have to maintain that strength to keep helping. When the help you are giving is crippling you, you have to step back and set your own life to right.

Augh...there ARE ways to fix the problems. The world is full of amazingly smart and creative people. If only the powers that be would really listen to them.

When one POTUS spends more than the previous POTUS, and nobody wants to step up (Congress) and do something that will not get them re-elected (major cuts) well we're pretty much screwed.
