At Ronde Barber's first OTAs, the coaching staff thought he looked like a UDFA. Obviously, it wasn't because of a lack of talent; he just needed to pick up the mental side of the game.

In that D-Bow interview all of us watched, Bowens said they threw everything at the rookies at OTAs and mini-camp. Some guys take a little time to process that much information; at this time last year, Mack looked like a bum, but we're pretty happy with him now.

I'll be heading to training camp sometime next week. If Haden looks slow, I'll mention it. But it isn't something I saw on TV tape.

We put so much emphasis on rookies and their impact. The fact of the matter is that its a big transition from the college game to the pro game. Yeah, it's all Football but there's so much more on the line than simple pride of your school. Money, hardship, the NFL is where the big boy's come to play and not only that but its home to some of the best athletes in the entire world. The level of the game is elevated, we all know this. For a rookie to adjust, it's probably very overwhelming at first. Those that can transition excell, those that fail to do so get left behind. I have faith in Haden, and I am rooting for Carlton Mitchell, I follow him on FB and Twitter and he's pretty genial and easy to like. The kind of person you want to cheer for.

BROWNS 2012: We have our "New Offense" It's Put up or shut up time.
Weeden gives us a QB with skills McCoy does not have.
Richardson gives us a HB with abilities the Browns have not seen in decades!
The message is clear, we want to score more than 13.6 PPG this year.

WOOF WOOF WOOF!
