BEREA, Ohio -- Cleveland Browns starting cornerback Eric Wright has injured his right leg during practice. Wright got hurt during seven-on-seven drills about halfway through the Browns' morning workout Tuesday. He was attended to on the sideline by trainers, who put an ice wrap on Wright's leg. He limped to the team's training facility for further treatment. Wright's injury appeared to be to his hamstring. A second-round pick in 2007, Wright had four interceptions last season. If he is out for any extended period, rookie Joe Haden would likely take his spot. |

We really need Wright this year. There are just too many good receivers on our schedule for him to miss an extended period of time. On the bright side, this will throw Haden into the fire early. That's a very good thing, in my opinion. Also, I keep seeing positive write-ups or updates on the play of TJ Ward. Having a playmaker at safety does wonders for a defense. Good luck, Joe and get well, Eric. We need both of you this year. |

Okay I was upset about D'Qwell but this just tips the scales. Wright was going to be an important peice of our puzzle, now we can't get ahead of ourselves but hamstring injuries are never good. They can be the kind of injuries that plague a player. Wright is a professional and he will bounce back! *Optimism*

Just ask Dante Stallworth how those hammie injuries work. Thank god Eric hasn't got that big deal or else he might decode to take the season off.
