It would just be nice as a fan if we wait till a pass is thrown before we throw the QB under the bus,is that to much to ask?

Discussing his previous shortcomings isn't throwing him under the bus at all.

I agree with shep, i believe delhomme will have a pretty short leash but it has nothin to do with holmy or heckert, it has more to do with mangini/daboll and a stadium full of pissed off frustrated fans if jake becomes jake delhomoception simply put the fans wont be able to tolorate or stomach another RAC approach to QBing like we saw with DA...if delhomme cant cut it manboobi will put wallace in..

On a good note i dont believe jake will be putting the ball in the air much in dabolls offense and when he does it will be mostly short safe percentage stuff that eventually becomes unsafe due to an idiot running the offense and they turn into pick 6s..just the way manboobi likes it...yawn

As fans and even the coaches we will all have to be somewhat patient as the team tries to build chemistry but theres only so much the fans and coaches can take if it starts going south..

I like some things, I don't like others. How is that a reason to jump my ass yet again? We all talk about what we like and don't like about the team, how things are going, etc.

What part of that aren't you grasping? I don't care if you agree with me. I don't care if you like my opinions. They're mine and you're welcome to debate them. But for God's sake, tuck your tampon in and quit getting all bent out of shape.
Shep: I think what Danimal is voicing is left over frustration that still lingers from when you left.. and the reason you left ( the endless qb threads) . I have to agree with Danimal. I have just been silent about it because I don't want to go down that road again. You should thank Daninal for his not so subtle hint.. We are STILL NOT OVER being sick of your QB threads.. your absense was not long enough for that. You already have started 3 qb threads on page one right now, and one on your favorite whipping boy Haden. . Keep posting, but with a bit of discretion please.. ..but again I have to say.. Take Danimals not so subtle hint.. That's my take on it..

I am one who is hoping JD has a triumphant "revival" with the move to a new team and some other factors (whatever they may be).

If he doesn't I won't be crying in my rum over it. It IS nice to have other options and some potential "flash" packages (a la Wallace/Cribbs - even if I'm not too thrilled about that yet).

Either way, I just don't think you go into a season thinking you're going to ditch your (supposed) starter. That's what we've done for the past few years. Let's move PAST the QB controversies!

Like someone else said,
Any intelligent Browns fan knows JD is a stop gap but after just getting rid of the other two we need a break from this QB bullshit,Hatin on a 3rd round pick you thought would go in the first round gets annoying after the fiftieth time.
It isn't a crime for a fan to want to try and enter the season in a positive fashion rather than how many steps before we fall, thats not being a fan,it just isn't.

There are things I feel positive about, Dan. I like our line. I like our backs a ton. I'm having some positive feelings about the young wideouts. I've said over and over that I think our defensive personnel overall is pretty damn good and could be formidable.

You don't like that I don't like out quarterback situation. That's it. But it's my right to feel that way and to discuss it here, because that's a vital topic. That's what it really comes down to, so don't make it more than that!

I'm not being mean to you or anybody else. Take a breath and you'll see that's the case.

Shep don't pretend you don't get it or start this I don't know where this is coming from again.
Your smarter than that, you like QB and don't see one on the team that's fine but you post in a fashion like how long before JD steps on his dick kinda defeats the purpose of being here doesn't it?
Holmgren decided for now JD is our starter and as I have said a million times he is our Gary Danielson till we find our next Kosar, but it doesn't mean I know he will fail and shit the bed or as some may perceive your post just make the season not worth watching.

There is plenty to be excited about and sure if want to look hard enough theres a few things that could be better but before a season starts your posts appear to flirt with "I know he will fail and you do to how long till it happens",thats a shit post,it is your right to post it but don't be surprised when negativity meets negativity.

It's amazing how everyone always has to see your side of things and you refuse to acknowledge anyones opinion or thought's unless they agree with yours.

There is a reason your split between two boards and it isn't by your own choice, you don't like to be questioned or challenged and when you are you claim its a personal attack.

Nobody is saying agree with me or leave, that's stupid and doesn't make for anything decent to discuss if we always agree but you have to be a little more open to others and not take yourself as the CEO when you post.
I don't have it in for you, or want to be confrontational but it would be really cool if you would be a little more open minded.

This statement is kinda silly. I mean really...

A lot of "ifs" but...

If he remains healthy...

Plays lights out... (think Peytonesque)

and wins all the games the Browns should win and more...

He will remain the starter.

If you think they are gonna take him out of the starter role when he's playing good to great, then... well you are being silly.
