I absolutely hated the Brady Quinn pick the day we made it.

Let me set one thing straight, I LOVE the Cleveland Browns, but I DO NOT LOVE every player that is from Ohio, or played at an Ohio College (OSU). I didn't care Brady was from Ohio, I was very vocal against my opposition against the pick. Unfortunately, it seems many Cleveland Browns fan want to build an all Ohio team, which is not possible if you want success.

The 2007 draft class of QBs was absolutely terrible, and I am suprised Brady had the shocked look on his face when he fell down until we were dooped into picking him up.

I still feel strongly that Browns fans are the reason we had a terrible 2008 season. We had a Quarter Back who won 10 games with the worst defense in the NFL at the time (ok, not the worst, they were 29 overall) playing along side him. The fans buried the 10 win, 29TD passer for a local boy was famous for selling pink jerseys.

And Shep, don't even jump on the Brady sucks bandwagon. It wasn't too long ago you were on both knees with Brady Quinns penis firmly inserted into your cheek. You are the biggest ship jumper when it comes to players. You claim to know and understand football player, but in reality you are just menstral, emotional, and indecisive. You were wrong about Quinn just as you will be wrong about Clausen. The entire ND program is just a joke. They are one hell of an academic school, and many successful individuals come from there. Hence the reason they have their own national football television contract. At the end of the day they play one competitive team, USC. Every catholic and every american with irish hertiage jjumps behind them because it feels "right", but they blow and are overrated.

- End Rant.

---- Can anybody name the last time I was WRONG when I said a player blew balls? I can't.

I remember you pimping your brother Luigi pretty hard, but he's not really had any major success on his own. He's like a bad version of Scottie Pippen.

Why? When you say it so eloquently, immediately, and frequently yourself?

I know as moderators we're not supposed to show "the wizard" behind the curtain, but Rich, you're the only member on the forum that can give themselves "rep" for a post. Which explains your 4.

Hey, no bigger Ohio State fan than me but Rich is delusional when it comes to former Buckeyes. He also advocated strongly for taking Troy Smith in the 1st rd when he didn't get drafted until late 5th by Baltimore. Remember Rich?

Rich's love for former Bucks is so long it over rides his very occasional "I told you so and so was a bum" superior football acumen attitude.

I was talking about BQ with a friend of mine and we agreed that we think the main problem for Quinn was that he started to enjoy going to the gym more than he cared about playing well on the field. His play level dropped considerably and I think that his inkling to hit the weights may have inhibited his natural throwing motion. Like Shep said, he doesn't even look like the same QB coming out of college. Part of me wonders if maybe he didn't get the run around here in Cleveland (and you gotta admit that he did) maybe he would've focused more on trying to become better at Football than he tried to become a beefcake.

Im glad you mentioned this because I have stated in the past I think his working out really screwed up his passing accuracy amd natural mechanics...you need stretch muscles not mass...he has mass...no recoil in his arms...you need a short quick sling motion to spin it right. Its just a shame

I mean, overall, Quinn just didn't have the tools to take a team like Cleveland (or even a superior team) to a winning format. He's too uncomfortable in the pocket, and in recent seasons looks almost out of his element completely behind center. It's not too late for Brady, if he works hard he could become a quality backup for a team. I can't see it working out in Denver, Orton is too good and Tebow's the future there. Quinn will get another shot with another team before his day is done and if he makes the most of it that will be up to him but I can't see him starting in the NFL again. Of course, you never know how it will go.

Yes I forgot to mention its certainly not too late for him...but in all honesty...I dont see it...but not out of the realm of possibility. The best I see happening is him as a 3rd stringer learning how to coach from McDaniels.

I dunno if you looked at him during yesterdays game but he's slimmed down the thickness quite a bit. I think his brain is broked.

It's not the lifting, it's his natural lack, and maybe lack of attention to, flexibility. He did look trimmer, especially next to 250 pound Tebow.

Did you guys see Tebow's last play touchdown? Man did he put a hit on the cornerback. I know, I know, he can't make a living by.. blah, blah, blah..., but that was fun football to watch.
