Default Brady Quinn Sucks Ass

Just watched him bumble around the field for the Broncos. He just sucks. He's insanely inaccurate and an interception waiting to happen. Still stares down receivers.

I can't believe how bad he is. He isn't the guy I saw in college OR that first preseason. Hasn't been ever since, actually. I have no idea what happened.

We stole Peyton Hillis, as it turns out. I could see Quinn out of the league very soon.

I feel bad for the kid because I know he tries hard...Its a shame really..I wish he could of done more for us but more importanly for himself...it could be just a case of trying to hard...hard to say...I wish him luck no matter how it turns out...just hope our QB problems sort out.

Things could have been totally different for him had he got a starting gig by year two. He also had zero mentorship from DA but he really does seem to suck.

He was brutally mishandled.

He also was never that great to start with.

Not a surprise he sucks, really.

This was EXACTLY the reason I did not want to take Quinn or a QB in that draft. I did not like Quinn in that draft at all. (nor did I like the QB's in this years draft for that matter)... Not a good talent. I was rooting for Adrian Peterson in that draft. (still mad we did not take him). I love Joe Thomas.. but a guy like AP.. wow.. I think he's going to have a monster season this year. He was down a bit last year. (Still pretty awesome for most backs).. But Quinn.. He screwed himself right out of the gate with his holdout..and it was all downhill from there. I'm just ticked cuz we could have used that pick on some of the quality DE's that draft...which is still a big need area for us.

Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn continue to go separate ways

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on August 15, 2010 8:49 PM ET
It's rare that a preseason game so forcefully confirms everything that we've read in training camp.

All August long, we heard Kyle Orton was playing the best football of his career. He backed that up with a sterling preseason opener, leading two workmanlike touchdown drives against the Bengals in three tries. (Orton finished with 84 yards and two touchdowns throws on 13 attempts.)

We've also heard that Brady Quinn has struggled during camp. With a chance to change his momentum, Quinn endured a first half against Cincinnati that closely resembled the worst work of JaMarcus Russell.

Quinn completed five-of-14 passes for only 38 yards and an interception returned for a touchdown. Quinn tripped, he fumbled, he stared down receivers, and then threw behind them. He was lucky that two more red zone passes weren't picked off.

Sure, it's just a preseason game. But the preseason may be all Quinn has in Denver before Tim Tebow passes him, making the former Notre Dame golden boy a No. 3 quarterback headed for a career as a backup, a third NFL team, or worse.

Rich was dead on about Brady Quinn as he was dead on about Savage.

Trent Edwards also looked really bad in his first 2010 pre-season game. Quinn and him got off to hot starts as rooks (more so Edwards), but they weren't good enough to carry bad teams. And their weaknesses were amplified as they struggled on the field.

I wouldn't want either guy on my team right now. But if I had to choose one, I'd probably take Edwards.

I guess the reason I'll always hope Quinn does well is he wanted to be a Brown. He got it, just like Bernie and Cribbs get it, and unlike Lebron the narcissist.

You'll never convince me he had a fair shake here, even if he leaves the NFL soon.

There aren't many (any?) Ohio born and bread football players I enjoy watching struggle.

I'll bet if you ask him, he'll still say he's a Browns fan. It may be a good thing he's no longer here, but I'll still pull for him.

Makes Me wonder that the late Bill Walsh was high on Edwards and Josh booty yet they both wound up being poopy!
