Bmac isn't a surprise but I'm not in love with Brown either,he seems to play the same aggressive take a chance kind of corner but he can hit and tackle where Bmac couldn't but he gets beat to often for my liking.

Really no big surprises aside from BMac but a 4th CB better be a very good special teams player. BMac is not. I'd be very surprised if you didn't see a name or two today or tomorrow from the waiver wire.

The Browns most likely will pair down the LB crew to 10 and pick up an OL and CB. Maybe even a WR and waive Mitchell and try to get him to the practice squad. I could also see maybe a late move to get one of their LBs to the practice squad. Titus Brown could be the odd man out.

It will be very interesting to see the practice squad makeup. I'd say CB, DL, OL and WR.

Browns sign two more

Sep 6th, 2010 @ 12:21 pm by Steve Doerschuk

Wide receiver Joedan Norwood and running back Andre Anderson were added to the practice squad today.
Norwood was with the Browns as an undrafted rookie last year before getting cut on Sept. 5. He spent the next 13 weeks on Philadelphia’s practice squad. Thus, this is a meeting of the Mangini-Heckert minds.
Norwood racked up 2,015 yards while at Penn State.
Anderson has been with the Raiders and Bills this year as an undrafted free agent. He rushed for 1,966 yards at Tulane.

Cleveland Browns awarded center former Seahawk Steve Vallos, OL Billy Yates let go

Published: Monday, September 06, 2010, 11:20 PM Updated: Monday, September 06, 2010, 11:28 PM

Mary Kay Cabot, The Plain Dealer
CLEVELAND -- The Browns were awarded former Seahawks center Steve Vallos via waivers today and terminated the contract of offensive lineman Billy Yates to make room.

Vallos, a Boardman, O. native and graduate of Boardman High, was originally a seventh-round pick of the Seahawks in 2007 out of Wake Forest. He played in 16 games for the Seahawks over the past two seasons, starting three last season and five in 2008. He played under current Browns president and former Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren in 2008.
Vallos (6-3, 312) can play both guard and center. He's expected to be on the practice field for the first time on Wednesday.

Dislexic pronunciation: Ya tez! That makes another Mexicutioner executed. The good news? If he didn't want to remember the Alamo - he doesn't have to if he's resting in peace.
