Our linemen reacted correctly they were moving in on suh saw the flag and saw jake was ok and calling for the penalty in which a flag had already been thrown.

It would have been stupid to offset the penalty at that point..had jake started rolling around hurt some whoop ass would have been laid on him...
The thing that pisses me off is that suh wasnt ejected.

Noone is saying we should have light him up on the spot, gotta be smarter then that. We SHOULD have went headhunting and started punking out their players every chance we got, though.

Don't forget the hit on Sorenson. Double helmet to helmet blocking a guy on special teams in preseason...that pissed me off too so i was really looking forward to a big TJ Ward headhunter hit!

I don't know how you go about something like this, it was a pretty aggressive gesture and I think he should be reprimanded in a big way, a decent fine but I don't know about any kind of suspensions. Tops, a game, if any but I think a dollar fine would make more sense. Like its been noted, Jake wasn't hurt and really that's the main thing once it all comes down to it.

I was just bringing up a point not justifying what Suh did.
Suh should be fined and suspended for that,especially as a rookie so he learns quickly that you don't play like that at this level.
We all like to see a good hit and pummeling on the field of battle but the cheap shit is bush league.

That's something I hadn't thought of.

Jake knows the guys a rookie and maybe a bit "overzealous". He wasn't hurt, the refs called the penalty.

Maybe that was enough for Jake. If it's true, it says a lot about the line if they listened to his request to let it go.

I like the hard hitting smashmouth stuff too, and even a little dirty play here and there (when it matters) but not at the expense of the players health.

It just proves the guys right that said the Offensive Linemen should have come to Jake's defense...right or wrong.

Guaranteed, if they did, we would have suspensions and/or larger fines on us!

Gotta have the baseball mentality (I guess), tit for tat... I would send the chop blockers after his knees next time since there is NO JUSTICE by the NFL.
