Trading a probowl center to move up in draft to get him......SHOULD BE A MONSTER STUD!!!!! FAIL!

I just thought of him as a quick ILB with good instincts and a great tackler. He and Hodge came out the same year, right, A? I think Hodge just got cut by somebody.

Are you refering to Pro Bowl ALTERNATE (one time, in 2007, not that the pro bowl actually means anything) Jeff Faine, who on every snap got shoved 5 yards into the back field by Casey Hampton? The Browns should be happy if they got a can of pringles for that wasted first round pick by Butch.

Faine didn't make a probowl while he was facing big nts in 3-4 defenses.
Melvin Fowler looked better than Faine when they were both in town.

Huh? DQJ isn't Ray Lewis, but we haven't been exactly stellar in the "lets play with one DC for a few years and see who is who" department. Faine is a good C. But not for the AFCN, IMO.

Jeff Faine sucked in Cleveland and we were lucky to get anything for him. There is a reason we were so eager to let him go when we signed Bentley.

This isn't about Jeff Faine....It's about Jackson. It's about a high second round choice ILB...who is average, It's about why our defense has sucked since earl holmes got salary capped, its about the Browns nneed for an ILB that we've needed since mike johnson in the late 80's....It's about another savage bust! I could give a rats ass about faine!

Huh??? I post the following:

"DQJ is still the guy I though he was and would be. If the expectation was for him to be Ray Lewis or Patrick Willis type of LB, I think the wrong expectation was set"

You reply to with quote to that post with the following:

"Trading a probowl center to move up in draft to get him......SHOULD BE A MONSTER STUD!!!!! FAIL! "

I respond to that with "

And you tell me I am deflecting? Dude, you brought up CLE trading a "pro bowl" center, not me. Maybe you should try keeping straight what you post before you start jawing off about me and my "diversion and redirection". Perhaps less drinking when posting is needed Solon.

Fellas fellas let's relax, then face the facts. Linebacker is THE premier position in ALL of sports and THE most 1st round centric position in the NFL. Until we start going LB early and often... Or sumthin... We'll never (!) have an elite corps.
