Buccaneers quarterback
Josh Freeman suffered a broken thumb during the preseason. The broken thumb reportedly limited his ability to participate in practice on Wednesday. The extent of the limitation, however, wasn't clear.
Anwar Richardson of the
Tampa Tribune (via JoeBucsFan.com) reported during the session that Freeman is "
not practicing." PewterReport.com reports that Freeman participated in some walk-through reps
with a splint on his thumb.
Freeman fully participated in practice on Tuesday, according to coach Raheem Morris. It's unknown whether Wednesday's reduction in activity resulted from an aggravation to the injury.
The Bucs host the Browns on Sunday in one of the few games that the Bucs have a snowball's chance in Tampa of winning.
