just like everyone thought kurt warner was done with new york gmen... like everyone thought favre was done with GB and then with NYJ... im not saying hes an exception to the rule like these two... or that the leopard has changed his spots... but i think he deserves more than one game before everyone says hes the "same ole jake"

Uh wait a second. Are you saying Jake was once a great QB? That's the first time I've seen you reference him that way. Interesting.

He is not here to bring us to the promised land or even as far as making us a playoff team this season. That would be a wing and a prayer type deal.

But look we've seen you make snap judgements on QB's (and other skill players) before and mostly you've been wrong. You cannot make a judgement on a QB after one game, one OTA, or one workout. But that's what you do.

For a guy who attempts to dominate a board you sure don't have any sensible criteria for judging talent in the NFL. After a couple preseason games you were relieved Jake looked good. After one game you're throwing him under the bus under the guise you never liked him.

But considering you're QB acumen leaves a lot to be desired, I'd consider you're distaste for Jake as a good sign the Browns aren't in as bad of shape as you say.
