I was pretty high on wanting Mcnabb but I got jumped on for not getting on the bandwagon and others pointed out what the real deal is and thats why in the hell would he agree to come here in the first place?
It really doesn't matter matter at this point. it is all about keeping the seat warm till we get the next heir apparent and trying to resemble an NFL offense along the way and for week one he looked light years ahead of how we began last season.

Now how about you take some of your own advice, Veg? Just give it a try.

But Shep is right.
If you don't believe him just ask him!
Your just mean and throwing out personal attacks and he is just defending himself.

Is this record broken or what?

Dudes, I'm STILL not attacking you, as hard as you try to provoke it. It means nothing to me. You are what you are and I understand that I somehow threaten you or make you feel insecure so you jump every word I say on a silly-ass Browns Board disagreeing about starting quarterbacks.

It's not like nobody sees through it, you know. It's not like you're pulling it off. It's just that nobody really cares because you just don't matter enough.

Sorry to be harsh, but it was time to call things as they are.

Bang on Danimal.

We mention hindsight on here a lot... well

6 months ago, I was hoping we would keep Brady Quinn around to give him the shot I felt we owed him, now I feel like if I had to suffer through another 16 weeks of BQ showing us how mind boggling inefficient one can play the position. Compared to that, I'd gladly take a full season of what Delhomme's one week of play would project; over 3600 yards and at least 16 passing TD's (we won't worry about INT's, we all know he will throw his share so I'm not even worried about that). Other than DA's crazy season, who can boast those kind of numbers. Maybe Tim Couch?

I'm just not ready to abandon ship yet, that's all.

EE,
I freely admit to being a Quinn fag but the organization ruined him and he deserved a change of scenery although the Broncos really didn't need him so he might just fade away?
As far as the here and now we are in the exact same place we were when Gary Danielson was our QB and we were waiting on our Kosar, unfortunately I don't believe Kosar II is on our roster yet.
Delhomme can buy us a year or two no need to go and get all crazy over who is the better turd, unless your into that kind of thing.

It wouldn't be so damn funny if it wasn't so true. LOL. One track mind for a one trick pony.

I remember being absolutely mortified when I read we signed Delhome. I mean, I live in NC, I live amongst these panther fans, and I knew I was gonna get an ear full from those inbred hicks as soon as we did it. So no, I was not a fan.

However, over time I think I did a pretty good job convincing myself that we could have another Kurt Warner story on our hands, Jake had a long good career winning quite a few big games. He just wasn't ready to come back last year after the injury and it showed.

Even yesterday's performance doesn't damper that too much for me. He had no business being on the field in the second half with his injury. You just don't leave an old QB out there who is hobbled unless you have stellar protection, and the right side of our line was anything but stellar. So I put that one on the coaches shoulders. Jake should of been benched, but not because of performance, but because of his injury. When you have the right side leaking the way it was, we needed the legs of Seneca Wallace to keep plays alive and make some things happen.

At any rate.

Jake did what I expected..be a man and take the heat.. that's what leaders do... even though it's the coaches fault for not pulling him.. he did not point at Hillis for fumbling, he did not point at the lousy special teams and the lousy defense.. He's a leader..we need more like him.. He'll be fine. Besides we DO NOT have anyone better... and it's a million times better than the fiasco of last season. I think I'll wait a few games before throwing him in front of the bus.
