I can see why Mangini didn't put in Wallace

Agreed: Both guys are backups. Any other team that signed either one, it would have been clear that it was as a backup.

I had hopes for Seneca because, well... there's not a lot else to hope for from our passing game.

Thanks for chipping in as usual, Danamal.

You started threads about why Wallace should start instead of Jake and here's some Monday crow for you.
Many, many people said it over and over again Wallace is a number two, even a few coaches but as usual you beat the piss out of that drum until it happened unfortunately by accident so now the theme for the rest of the season will be who we take at QB next year.

We absolutely need to draft a QB next year but until his injury Jake looked better than any QB we have had for awhile so I didn't understand the clamoring for another QB to start?

Delhomme was a stop gap till we get our guy and still is,I just didn't feel the need to get all wrapped up in another QB controversy after the stupid Frye DA Quinn shit we have been dealing with the past few seasons,I actually thought not talking about QB this year would be refreshing but here we are.
Sorry I spoiled your day.

Delhomme is clearly a more accurate passer than Wallace. WAY better throwing the deep ball. He has YEARS of experience hitting steve smith deep. I'll take Delhomme all day over Wallace. I like Wallace as a backup.. Delhomme is a better starter (for our short term future). Do I see Michael Vick in our future? He looked really good yesterday. It's a longshot.. but Vick with the Dog pound... it's hard to ignore irony of that magnitude. It's Cleveland all the way.

I look at it like this, had mangini made the right call and put wallace in last week he would have had more reps with the first team and perhaps the outcome of both games would have been different..we will never know..

Wow Ky, considering the best run of QB'ing we've had in the brief season was Delhomme's first 28 minutes I have no idea why you'd think what you think about Wallace.
