Believe it or not, Schaefering was rotating in with the starters for all of the 2nd part of 2009 and is still doing so early on in 2010. We're doing 2 man rotations for all 3 dline spots. Technically we can consider 6 different guys starters. Schaefering is solid depth that made some plays last year and I think we'll notice more of the same. There's no telling how good some young guys can get. 2 years ago I wouldn't have predicted Rubin would be better than Shaun Rogers as early as 2010; but there's no denying who's playing better at this time.
EE - GREAT idea about Cox! He's been a defensive captain for 2 different NFL playoff teams before he started coaching so he's got alot of depth and leadership qualities. It doesn't suck that he's played for legends like Shula, Parcells and BB either.
