Default Im sick of it! We need to draft ATHLETES!!!

Im done..

Im pissed...

Thank god Heckert has a track record for drafting good athletes, because I dont think I could take another Mangini draft.

Haden=speed, strength, finesse, intelligence

Ward= Let in the agility drill I believe, big hitter

Hardesty= Size/Speed Combo

Luavao= Impressive strength and athleticism

Mitchell= Speed

Those are this years draft picks, thank God some of them have a little flash. Im sick of us drafting based on intelligence and character, the Patriot way, which is great, but dont the Patriots have Randy fricken Moss?

This next draft Im looking for some umph, I looking for us to draft some players that make a statement, I cont care if we come out looking like Al Davis (we wont, I trust Heckert).

I want a big, fast, receiver who talks shit and makes crazy catches and breaks tackles like a RB

I want a Quarterback that can gun it down the field, talk shit, then run 100 yds for a touchdown

I want a right tackle, thats gonna put you on your ASS on a consistent basis

I want a fast MLB that can lay the wood

I want a blazing, shifty runningback that will dice and slice you up the field and carry a DB into the endzone

I WANT ABE ELAM OFF THIS FREAKING TEAM!!!

Sorry guys, I have just had it with us passing on athletes in the FA market or in the draft due to character concerns, or problems with consistency that can be corrected.

just had to post it

Nope, we need a QB and wr's, thats about it. If we had that we would be a good football team. Our defense is legit and our offense is terrible.

Our defense didn't harass or pressure 2 mediocre QBs who play poorly when rattled. Our defense is in need of at least 2 playmakers up front.

But not sure we can wait any longer. We need a QB in the 2011 draft. McCoy is too far away from starter material.

Speaking of wanting Abe Elam off the team.... We still have Eric Barton starting and Marcus Benard riding pine.

Our defense is fine. Sure, we could use more playmakers, but so could any team in the NFL. We definitly will need an upgrade over Elam for next year.

Our offense is full of holes. No QB. No big time WRs who can get seperation. No premier RB. No right tackle, and possibly no right guard depending on Lauvao. Those are a lot of areas that need to be addressed.

In my opinion, Mangini has overhauled the defense over the last 2 years 100% for the better. No more Andra Davis, no more Willie McGinnest, no more Brodney Pool, Brandon McDonald, Kam Wimpley, or Shaun Smith. We have a good core of versatile guys who aren't the best in the league, but get the job done and work together as a group. I'd love to add impact players here, but from the roster we had in Romeo's last year to where we are now, the improvement is undeniable.

I wonder who is slower.... Elam or Barton.... you would think it would be Barton by a long shot... but im not so sure.

Theyre both Molasses, they both need off our team.

If only we would have drafted my way, and made FA moves my way....

We'd Have William Moore, Jay Cutler, Dez Bryant, Rey Maualuga, Rashad Jennings, and much much more.

The Momass pick and the Veikune pick REALLY screwed us, like.... BAD that draft might go down as our worst...

Mack, Robo, Momass, Veikune, Davis, Ivey and that one corner who plays for Jacksonville

that has to be the worst draft, almost ever... Mangini should be shot for that shit

Mangini only had ONE, count it, ONE draft class prior to Heckert and Holmgren dude.

He drafted like 7 guys. Those 7 guys don't make up the nucleus of this team.

Mack is a very solid pick. Mangini pick.

Massaquoi is fast. Although has yet to prove he can be a consistent receiving threat. Mangini Pick.

Robiskie is a good athlete. He was open all day, but Wallace couldn't get him the ball. Mangini Pick.

Davis is also fast, shifty, and a solid runner. Mangini pick.

We had one failed pick from last year in Veikune (I don't consider rounds 5 or later failed if they don't make the team after a couple years).

Also, Mangini found Moore, Benard, and Roth, who will be exceptional for this team for years to come.

The problem is, that this team was mostly comprised of Savage picks and a few holdover Davis picks.

Dude, you are so out in left field it is ridiculous. Now I'm not saying everything is sunshine and roses, but Mangini's draft was solid.

If we did free agency your way, we'd be strapped for cash for years to come, and would still suck.

Mack is an AWESOME pick. We have a cornerstone center who will command the line for years to come.

Ivey is the CB who is in Jacksonville. We waived/injured him last training camp and Jacksonville broke unwritten protocol and nabbed him. Francies was cut this offseason. No big loss on either of them.

The only pick that is terrible is Veikune. That is one out of like 7.
