I have been impressed with Chansi's play the last couple days. As one of his biggest critics I will take the initiative to say I'm PROUD of him! He is playing hard and definitely working to embody this attitude the team has taken on this season. He fights for extra yardage, he seems to be wide open at times and he hasn't dropped many passes. Slot guy or not, we need a receiver to make plays for us and he's been doing just that. He's not a big play threat but I'm starting to see the potential that was recited to me from Jets fans after the Braylon trade.

I hope he can keep it up. I'm not ready to say he's "emerged" yet. But he's played well the past couple of games for sure.

He's really emerging. He's a keeper in the slot.

Stuckey's great at moving the chains on 3rd and 6 -- only Ben Watson has more first down-yielding receptions.

That said, his YPC (10.1) is about the same as our top tight end. He's quicker than fast, which makes him a quality slot guy. Hopefully, we'll re-sign him after this season.

Agreed... he's got quicks, not get-deep stuff. Prototypical slot guy and third down WR. I think Mo can be a #2. We just need a #1.

Brass wants to look really slick, they get Vincent Jackson and Kevin Kolb in just as fast as possible.

Well sure Sez, but the fact of the matter is, it's how hard this kid plays that has been impressing me. He fights tooth and nail for extra yardage, he uses his quickness to his advantage and does a good job of getting open. He's been playing well the last two games and I hope that it continues. As it goes so far this season, him and Cribbs have been the only ones who have been so-so productive.

Getting open is one thing but the QB's aren't throwing to these wideouts for a reason. CATCHES matter people.

He's a waterbug. Really quick. Fits the prescription as a slot just about perfectly. Isn't he the guy Mangini once called one of the best slot receivers in the league?

He's as good as you let him be in that position. He doesn't drop the ball and he's really quick.

Stuckey has really come on and I like him a lot. He could be huge this week if we can get him in space with Pitt over pursuing.

I think we need Stuckey to continue making plays for us. I think we will especially need him this week to be a consistent option for Colt who will probably need all of the help he can get.

More so than that, I just want Stuckey to keep proving me wrong because I was a huge critic of him last season. He's making plays this year and that's all I want from him. He doesn't have to be a home run hitter, just some production.
