The game against Cincy felt like a loss to me.

Because in the former situation... I could at least say we played well.

Like I said earlier... if we didn't give away 3 winnable games by using the same approach I would not be anywhere near as concerned as I am now for my team. But you can't honestly expect us to go out and play this this every single week and win. Thats why I'm upset. I'm not just thinking about this one week, but I'm looking down the road ahead... and you can't depend on a team to go out and win when we play like we do in the 2nd half.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post.
Your joking right? Did you just say you would rather lose a close game with a good team.

What the hell kind of fan are you.anything u said lost all validity as soon as you made that statement..what a joke.

Did you read the second part of his statement ("than have a bad one that won a close game.")?

He's a fan that wants a good football team, not a bad team that pulls of a game here or there.

I agree, M and company. I've been through these scrappy teams that claw out 8 wins in unusual ways. Doesn't add up to shit. It's not like some grand, shiny memory or something.

We know what we're missing. We also know it's gonna get harder to find it after pick 10.

You don't need dome to have a lights out WCO. Paul Brown didn't and GB doesn't.

If you play in a dome, or in So Fla, or
Green Bay. Or New England. Or Pittsburgh.

Plenty of cold weather teams throw. A lot. It's the NFL.

With what we have wittnessed since 1999 I might take a team that claws out 8 wins....lol

Seriously though, what I have seen through the first 4 games is the same stuff I saw under Davis and RAC. A team that could hang in there for 3 quarters and lose a close game. I got suckered into that several times with those teams by using my Browns goggles. I gave that up a while ago. I judge this team the same way I do the other 31 teams in the NFL.

Can't wait for this team to go through a season where they embarrass their way to the playoffs because all the good teams won fewer games. Then they win the Super Bowl because the other team commits offensive holding in the end zone in overtime for a 2-0 fluke victory.

A fluke Super Bowl?? One of the most moronic statements EVER!!!

We won. I can't believe people are complaining. We KNEW coming into the season this team is still not very good. Why would anyone expect something resembling a perfect game. There are teams MUCH better than us who are looking at wins and saying.."wow we were really lousy in this area". So why would you expect us to not have noticable flaws.. We knew this before the season started. We battled for a WIN.. be happy.. We have been in every game so far.. be happy. We have had the lead in the 4th quarter of every game so far.. be happy. .. Hey I agree..with a few less mistakes this team could easily be 4-0 right now... but do you really think this is a 4-0 playoff ready team?.. It would be the worst 4-0 team in the leage..because you know.. ANY of the worst teams in the league could beat us if they put a decent game together... We are battling.. Improving.. We still have major holes and major problems... But compared to last year.. Whew.... be happy.

Yeah, Eh... Nobody likes a whiner ya' know...

I love Bob and Doug McKenzie, big ups there ND.

Btw, guys. Just as a fair warning. Maybe take a deep breath here before this thread spirals into some kind of potential flame war. If that happened in the last 4 thread then I am clearly just not trying hard enough but I think some posts on this page have come close to crossing a line. Just tone it down a notch guys. Let's not question anyone's fan credentials.

I've learned in the past that if anyone has a right to be apprehensive and jaded, it's a Browns fan.
