Kiszla: Hillis hurting McDaniels' IQ - The Denver Post

Isn't it awesome to finally get the better end of a trade?

I'll repeat: They'll build a statue of Hillis if he's good for a few years. He'll be a folk hero. He look like a Katzenjammer Kid.

GREAT piece on Hillis. I really hope he can keep this up.

Shep's right: this is the kind of guy and runner that, with an even half-way decent career in Cleveland, will end up on favorite Browns lists.

Hell, he's already my favorite, having given me the rare 2 for 2 this weekend: Browns win and my FFL team a 5-point win (thanks to his last 24 yard run that got him to 100; I kid you not).

I think we should have kept Brady Quinn. He was going to be good, well, at least 98% of people here thought he was god.

I feel great knowing we fucked Denver in the ass for once and made them weaker...A small consolation for Karlis' FG that shouldve been ruled no good.

If we don't fix our passing game , Hillis will be broken down after a couple of seasons is he continues to take the kind of abuse he does with his running style. Or at least find another productive back that can help carry the load.

Brandon Jacobs looks like he wants out of New York, can you imagine a three headed monster of Hillis,Jacobs, and Davis? With Vickers plowing the way?

About time they jumped his ass, his personnel decisions have sucked almost as bad as Manginis.

So getting Evan Moore off of a practice squad was a bad move?

Or picking up Matt Roth off of waivers? That was not good at all.

Trading Brady Queen for Hillis was just terrible.

I think these actually might be our best 3 players on the team. Ward has to be up there but come one.... He picked these dudes out of the thin air. He inherited a shit team that was going to be in financial trouble, got rid of the cancer (Edwards and Winslow) and is rebuilding the right way. Did he miss on some draft choices? Yep, just like everyone else does in the NFL. Heckert is now drafting and seems like he knows what he is doing. BUt we need Mangini to keep getting these nobodys and making them somebodys.

I think it was a reference to his first draft here where we got Mack and a whole lotta nuttin!

BINGO!

That and handing the Jets Braylon for nothing, having the Jets GM in the jackshack, dick in hand and rock hard for Sanchez and we toss him the sucky sucky numma 1 discount, giving TB a discount as they grab whoo their QB prospect and in return getting Coleman, Mack and some garbage in return.

Unloading KW was decent but nothing spectacular.

NOT unloading DumbAss and Brady Quiff when the offers were primo was stupid.

And yet again, big and bold: Trading from #5, then trading two other times and in return netting Alex Mack and Kenyon Coleman for the effort. That's the dumbest fucking trade off in history.
