Hmm... that seems like a bizarre decision. Maybe Mangini is waiting to see if Seneca plays well. IF Delhomme is healthy, and Seneca plays poorly. I'd expect Jake to get some action in this game before it's all said and done.

I'm also predicting that we are still searching for MoMass and Robiskie after the game, and someone files a missing persons report. We have TE targets, but I'm not sure on WRs. I hope I'm wrong. Go Browns! |

Wallace gets the start.. While I really want Delhomme back in there.. I think we have to agree that a healthy wallace is better than an injured Jake.. Let us hope he can get the offense to progress...This is his 4th start and should be getting more comfortable with all the guys.

I think that depends on who is QB, doesn't it? I mean, Wallace hasn't gained much of a reputation for the passing game. I think with Wallace starting we'll see more of Cribbs since they have such a great chemistry. I don't think we'll see much of MoMass or Robo until JD is back 100%. And yeah, ATL will be gunning for Hillis. We need to give some of the other RB's the ball as much as possible. We don't need Hillis hurt. |

I think if Seneca struggles or if our pass attack starts off poorly that we will see Jake in this game. Unless Mangini is worried about hurting Jake out there, I really can't think of any reason that Jake isn't starting other than Chemestry. Seneca has been the starting QB for three weeks and our offense, though not perfect, has been decent and maybe he doesn't want to jeopardize that by putting Jake back in there. If Jake's healthy, I would expect him to get the first team reps leading up to the Pittsburgh game and eventually start there. With the two weeks worth of first team practice reps. I think you would see a Fire under Jake to have a big game against a division rival in their house. As for this week though. It's paramount that Seneca plays a smart game and makes good throws. That's all we need him to do. Game Manager, don't hurt us with his play and help us where he can. The running game will do what it does and the pass attack will hopefully do more of what we saw it do last week. I want to see the TE's get involved big time, I'd love to see BOTH Moore and Watson have a TE and have 5+ receptions. I agree, we need to get the WR's involved, and Arizona's secondary is not great. There's a good opportunity for hopefully Stuckey to have another good game or maybe another WR to step up and produce for us.

I was kind of agreeing with you! I guess I was just thinking that we can't "write them off" for the future because of it. 'Cause there are folks who will do that. |
