Default McCoy Starts against the Steelers.

Yes we would all love a win. But baring a win, what would you be happy with considering this is his first start, and going into the lions den?

Its the Steelers. I would be happy with nothing less than sending those fuckers home with the bitter taste of defeat and a few less teeth than they started with.

I can look for silver linings next game. But now?

Its Steelers week.

49/50 for 400 yards, 5TD 0INT. I want to see a 75 yard pass completed to Carlton Mitchell, Chansi Stucky to get 150 yards catching and Robo to have a MINIMUM of 10 catches from Freckles. Anything less and it was a shitty pick and proves Holmgren knows less than Blockbuster Video employees about QB's.

All kidding aside... i hope hes just careful with the football. With the amount of pressure they're bound to send, hes gonna be rushed into throws and turnovers are prob gonna happen... im just going to watch to see if he makes smart reads and doesnt try to force the ball into double and triple coverage.

And if he can beat Pissburg it will just be the first step into his hopefully awesome career. Lets go Brownies!

Fellas fellas he's a rookie, temper your expectations. We shouldn't demand perfection, just 98% perfection. That's more reasonable.

Not turn the ball over.

As well he should..

if he dumps it all all game ..not only is that probably the smart thing..he's likely going to be told to dump it off... but I want to see a downfield throw once or twice.. ( have the other 2 qb's tried that yet?) I know they have but with zero success so..
I'm excited.. I know it's going to be ugly.. so what..

This is not good. Colt McCoy was supposed to ride the bench for his first year and now he is starting against one of the best defenses in the league in their own house and Peyton Hillis is dinged up. If you ask me this is most unfortunate for Colt.
