I'm not really sure I understand the point. Alo? Just the notion that each guy would be better in the other system?

I don't get this at all, Mike Bell is ok but do we really need another running back? Couldn't we just bring back Chris Jennings?

Harrison never made it fully out of Mangini's dog house. Bell is more of a similar runner to Hillis, only less talented.

I would have hoped we could get a late round pick in addition to bell though. Not sure this was a good trade.

The team must be concerned about Hillis's ability to stay healthy. Some people here have criticized Dabs for running him into the ground.

I don't think we got good value for Harrison...but the Browns didn't at all trust Harrison and needed to have someone behind Hillis.

Although I will say there are two things I like about this trade.

1. if I am right about Harrison being in Mangini's dog house being part of the reason for this trade, then this shows that at least Heckert is still trying to support Mangini as coach and not give up on him already.

2. It shows that Heckert, Holmgren and Mangini are TRYING SOMETHING to get better. ANYTHING, something. Keep working at it. Don't wait for some savior in the draft in 2011. every little change can help.

I like it, Harrison was doing zero for us, and pouted his way out of Cleveland. Worst thing that could happen is Bell does zero for us ...then we call it a draw. Heckert obviously thinks Bell can improve our situation.

The only reason to not like this trade is if you truly believe that what Harrison did at the end of last season was legit.

Personally, I don't think it was, and I don't think he's anything better than what Darren Sproles brings to the Chargers (which isn't much, but he at least gets receptions and return duties).

Bell at least can make contact and not fall down immediately.

Thomas and wright amongst others are pouting and playing their way out to...
But if mangini stays he has to have the kind of players that can swallow his system..
