 Marcus Benard fined $5,000
I just read about Benard getting fined $5,000 for a late hit against QB Matt Ryan in last week's loss to Atlanta. I remember a hit I thought almost could have been flagged for late hit but wasn't but to get fined for a non call when the ref was right there? What's this league coming to? I don't think it was helmet to helmet or anything...

Yeah I'm so fucking tired of this shit. They might as well just put red jersey's on the QB's and tell them they get 3 MIssissippi to throw the ball or they're down where they're at. It's sickening. Not sure if this is solely the work of Roger Goodell or what, but I'm tired of this pussification of the NFL

The 15-yard penalty came in the first quarter following an 18-yard pass to Roddy White, moving the Falcons to the Browns' 20. A few plays later, they kicked a field goal to go up 3-0. Browns defensive end Kenyon Coleman was flagged for unnecessary roughness three plays after Benard's penalty when he knocked down an offensive linemen, but was not fined. Let me get this straight here. It's ok for a qb to intoxicate a young woman, sexually assault her, then beat her head against a stall wall so she's so far out of it she can't express what happened to her. BUT..... If your on defense you can't bump into a qb without a fine? NOW..... Something is wrong here and I just can't put my finger on it.
