Default Do the Zebras Portect Rapists Like QBs?

Folks,
You already know that Pittsburgh has received 1st downs when the football has been inches (that's plural) short of the line to gain marker. We've seen it. Anyway, the league LOVES the money they receive in return for all of the yellow snot rags called terrible towels and gay jerseys they market for this ethically compromised franchise.

If Ben was an African American - he would have been every bit as releasable as Santonio Holmes for less. MAYBE that's a large reason he wasn't voted team captain because of the favoritism from the tippy top of the organization toward a guy that thinks he's above everyone else. Okay, so he's using the date rape drug today. Yay! All this other stuff with pregame shows is foney remorse staged from the script the Rooneys want him stating to the masses. I'm sure Gooddell and the Rooneys ironed this out completely.

Today, look for the cheap calls they always get that are just enough to diffuse the sails of a struggling team like ours. It's all about that Rooneyt pull behind closed doors. Like our buddy Elmer Fudd would say: "Kill Da Wape-ist!"

As you were, was, and ever shall be,

Anyone see the head shots on MoMass or Cribbs? Am I the only one questioning these hits here? Really? Harrison was aiming for the head on MoMass just like the steroid junkie does to the wife. Great guy! Why should they ruin jersey sales with the reality of who he really is? The funniest part of the Harrison cheap shot is our Center got flagged for delay of game on the play. Go figure!

Predictably, the league will PRETEND they just missed the obvious and apologize when it means zero. Meanwhile, they're saying "it's only the Browns."

Yeah, Harrison deserved penalties for each, and he better get fined.

Those was two of the most cheap shots I have seen. Harrison was aiming for the head. To have no flags thrown was a joke. Our owner needs to start talking to the league about these crappy calls we have been getting for years. Do you think if we had a more engaged owner they would get away with these crap calls we have gotten for years and years? I dont. Its time for Lerner to demand an investigation. I blame him for letting this go on for years.

Interesting points about lerner. They'll get a plastic apology from the league. BUT, they announced that the head linesman was the SAME guy that worked the Superbowl when the Steelers defeated Seattle with all the shadey calls. Hmmmm. Wasn't that reality enough to make Holmgren resign from the competition committee he was heading up?

I STILL remember vivedly the play a Steeler DE was way offsides and the least penalized oline in the NFL had their OT penlaized for holding on the play to nullify a 1stand goal at the 1 yard line. The next play Hasselbeck got intercepted and he was flagged for unnecessary roughness. I WISH I could say I was only kidding. If I told you the line judge was Dewey Cheatem and the Head linesman was Howie Cheatem - would you believe me? Well, I'm only kidding with that part of it.

Pittsburgh feels like the Soddom and Gommorah of the NFL. They market a ton of different jerseys and paraphenalia that coinscides with winning at all costs. The league caters to that every bit as much as it once did to Ray Lewis after he eluded murder charges. That's HOW a rapist can get cheered.

If those head shots happened against the Steelers - you bet your paycheck the entire crew wouldn't work again the rest of the season if the Rooneys didn't get an answer they were okay with. Randy Lerner doesn't strike me as interested enough to care about his inherited business to that depth. Lerner will be absolutely fine with the plastic apology the league will give him. If you see how close officials were to each cheap shot - it's really sickening. They've ruined Carson Palmer's career when you think of how much that knee shot changes his career. Haven't they decided to make that a penalty just like head shots? And guess what team they don't want to call these penalties against? The one that puts them in their game plans. There's the REAL Rooney Rule. I got the sense the entire time that Gooddell let the rooneys dictate the entire thing. The Browns have been flagged for much lesser hits than harrison had today. Think about the Cribbs hit - HOW does he get a concussion if he's not getting a serious blow to the head? I'd be very disappointed in our owner if he's not following up on that kind of hit on one of his players/employees/investments.
