Default Phil Savage's Superstar Strikes Again

Eric Wright tackling with his finger tips and wondering why that can't keep Ward from the end zone? Phil Savage, we miss you about as much as our last case of food poisoning. We're still working around your land mines here. You KILLED us for quite some time.

Man, did you suck Opie!

Wright was standing there clapping after the play. He missed a huge tackle and generally got burned all day as usual. He sucks.

God, the majority of Browns fans are absolutely hilarious.

Last season, only RAMROD and I were the ones who noticed HOW BAD Eric Wright is. While we pointed out how ineffective his play was, we had every Browns fan swear up and down he was a "draft steal" and the second coming of "Charles Woodson".

I know for a FACT if it wasn't for the announcers pointing out how bad Wright is, that 92.46% of Browns fans wouldn't notice.

Why wouldn't 92.46% of Browns fans notice you ask? Because they are so caught up in gorgeous QBs they don't understand how the game functions.

BTW, speaking of Gorgeous QBs, Colt McCoy looked ok today with the cirumstances dealt to him. I would keep starting him as long as Delhomme isn't 100%. If in two games no Delhomme, keep McCoy playing. No playoffs this season for us with only 1 win, might as well get some good practice in.

Well, I'm glad the 92.46% of us have the Amazing Mario to keep us informed.

Wright's regressed this year. Something fierce.

oh I am not Amazing when it comes to drafting. However, I don't put the blinders on year after year to candy coat who sucks. I also watch every position and try my best to evaluate who makes what mistake, and how often they do it. Wright has never been good enough to regress. Just in prior years we saw McDonald get picked on. We are still looking for a replacement for Bodden, who was a very well rounded CB

I was actually going to make a point similar to Marios shockingly enough.

Wright's issues may have been hidden to us because it was too easy for other teams to pickon McDonald, Ralph Brown, Hank Poteat and thier sisters.

Now with Haden and Sheldon Brown out there, wright may be the weak link teams will pick on, especially since it seems obvious to me his effort is lacking.

Mario comes swooping in with a "told ya so" post, didn't see that coming, the only problem is that you're referencing a conversation from 2 years ago that nobody remembers.

I always maintained Wright was a decent CB, not great, but not shitty. And if you look at his body language it's noticeably different from previous years. I've been joking with my cousin that he must of caught his old lady cheating or something cause his problems look mental.

In previous years he was a pretty sure tackler. I remember him making several tackles at the LOS, you just don't see the effort there this year. That's the biggest difference.....NO EFFORT.

Whenever I read "Phil Savage's Superstar", I assume you're referring to Ahtyba Rubin.
