Will McCoy be a above average or below average QB? Really to hard to tell right now. Probably is about as good as SW right now and that isn't a good thing. If he can step his playmaking up from a mental standpoint and not panic on 3rd down so much, he might make it. His quick release and quick feet are pluses. He will also benefit from a new offensive staff next year as well and they can't be any worse than the current one. Defense was just grossly poor at points in this game today. Considering you have a rookie QB starting in "this" offense, against a top notch defense, you better bring your best game. One of the good things after Mangini goes is, that boring read/react 3-4 defense that even Belicheck can't make work anymore will be gone. |

| He can play all he wants, doesn't mean he is the guy.

| And, of course, it doesn't mean he's not. The only way to find out is to play him. He never got much work with the starters so far this year since they didn't want to play him buy he's involved now. His performance today warrants the opportunity

| Playing time is not my point. Just the consistant desperation of a fanbase always annoiting QB's. Why get hyped up on essentially a failed season that is already over?

Your right, this is another lost season. McCoy showed he might have some promise with how he played today. No, it wasn't lights out but he played to win, not manage the game. He made throws down field (that throw to Moore was a beautiful thing, if that was Wallace it would have been out of bounds) and was accurate doing it. We know what Delhome is, we know what Wallace is, I say let McCoy play the rest of the year and determine if we are drafting a QB in the first round next year.

| Understand completely Mack. Not annointing anyone but feel his performance was good enough to give him the nod to start for the foreseeable future. But I have no problem getting hyped for the rest of this season if this teams continues to improve. If that happens I won't consider it a failured season. We all know this is gonna take awhile
