Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Randy Moss waves to the fans after his former team, the New England Patriots, defeated the Vikings 28-18 in an NFL football game in Foxborough, Mass., Sunday, Oct. 31, 2010.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Minnesota Vikings have waived receiver Randy Moss.
Linebacker Ben Leber says coach Brad Childress informed the team that Moss had been let go during a team meeting Monday afternoon.
The NFL Network first reported the Vikings waived Moss, but team officials have not confirmed the news.
Moss had one catch for 8 yards in a loss to the Patriots and said in Sunday night's postgame news conference that he admired the Patriots, but was critical of the Vikings' coaching.

I do not want Moss, I don't care how bad our receiving corps is. Moss is in the twilight of his career and SHOULD RETIRE. Hopefully that is one lesson he got from Brett Favre during his short stay in Minnesota.

LMAO!
If you're a head coach and Brett Favre isn't killing your career fast enough, just bring in Moss too!

Gotta love "Bad Randy" where he half asses everything because he doesn't want to be there.

half-ass randy has 5 td's

and is more than 2 times better than what we have at WR right now

we play new england, which he can help us with

In all reality, Chicago is the best place for him, Cutler is hurting for a weapon like Marshall again and those 2 could be a dominant tandem

Dude is worse than TO. Actually TO hasn't been that bad. But even TO is disgusted by Moss.

No team wants this guy.

I think fans of our football team have some sort of aversion to WR's

and cocky players

combine those two characteristics, and the typical browns fan it seems, wont like you

It really sucks..... Im a browns fan first, but I love the T.O's, Ochocincos, Moss etc. of the league

I really want one to call our own... I want a big flashy wideout who talks shit, and has mad ball skills
it makes our team have a bit more personality, a little flash and pizzaz

dont bring up edwards, he is a falsehood, he doesn't have game to back it up

moss would be a valueble tool in evaluating mc coy

we basically suck at wr, and we like to throw money away. he would probaly throw up in his mouth though at the prospect of being here though.

He'd cost $3.6M, which isn't that bad.

Obviously, he wouldn't be thrilled to come here: the question is whether he'd be willing to pull a TO-in-Buffalo happy act in order to get a good deal somewhere else in '11.

Moss is the anti-thesis of everything this football team is built around. He was unhappy with the Vikings who are - despite their record - MUCH more talented than us. He would just destroy our team from the inside, then leave after this season. If he'd even agree to actually play for us.

God no god no. I like Moss in an entertainment way, but not on this team.
