NE is 6-1...but look beneath the surface:

Wins over:
Cincinnati 2-5
Buffalo 0-7
SD 3-5
Minnesota 2-5

The only 2 good teams they beat are:
Baltimore and Miami....with the Dolphins being 0-3 at home (where NE got them)

2 of those wins were by 3...

In other words...not very impressive.

This is just a great post.

I want us to have a strong showing against the Patriots. We just rocked the Super Bowl Champs, the Browns are on top of the world. We won a game pretty much nobody won so I think we can say we're an improved team upon last year...

NE will cause us some trouble, we had a good defensive showing last game so I am hoping we can continue that as well. Hopefully we've used the by week well and will play a good game out there.

I dont want to bite my tongue here, I've been calling wins all season and I'll do it again here, but I wouldn't be surprised if this was the 'goes-south-quickly' thrashing I've been bracing myself for so far this year. Sheldon Brown in particular needs to pick up his play, hopefully the by week has given him some time to focus.

Like Tobs said, how many Championships he got after getting busted cheating? Zero. In fact in the seasons AFTER being busted he's not even made the playoffs, then went one and done last year.

his QB went down in 2008 but even then at 11-5 he got cut out of the playoffs

his only real shit year was 2009, but even manning has years like that losing to san diego in the first round and during all this time he has stockpiled picks into this huge pile of fucking madness that is just scary
