NE is near the bottom of the league at defending the pass. What could NE possibly do to force McCoy into a mistake that Pitt and NO couldn't? The receiver production we've pretty much assigned to daboll's playcalling also. |

AdaM: I guess we will have to wait and see. Are you saying that since he played such perfect games vs pitt and new orleans..that no way NE can fool him or force him to make him make a mistake? ... Keep dreaming. We are talking about Bill B here.. He has 2 more games of film than the other guys did. Last time I checked Bill was a pretty good defensive game planner and has fooled better and more experienced QB's than Colt. Colt is only in game #3.. Hey I hope your right.. but I think your drinking too much Coltaide.

I prefer the Coltaide with lime . The only thing Colt has shown so far is that his college experience is keeping him from being rattled (aside from his first couple series in pissburgh) but that is good enough for now. 2 starts and a couple of weeks of 1st team practices will only help. As for NE-----crap those guys just know how to win.

NE has less of a pass rush than Cleveland (same sacks) NE has given up nearly 40 yards a game MORE than Cleveland NE gives up nearly 70% completions on the season The Browns run a conservative, low risk passing attack Add those factors together and the likelihood of the Pats somehow 'getting to' Colt are pretty slim....so the likelihood of 'forcing' him into mistakes are also slim NE's defense is bend but don't break...and the Browns offense is grind it out. Should be a low scoring, tight battle. But Hillis should have a big game, as should Watson and Stuckey!!!

I am hoping our D can rally from the strong game we had against the Saints and play another against the Patriots. They aren't afraid of our offense and why should they be? Aside from Peyton Hillis our offense really doesn't have a certifiable playmaker other than Cribbs on special teams, with potential to give us a few big plays on average during a game. I think we can win. We've shown a lot of tenacity going into this game and maybe the Patriots will underestimate us, it's clear the Saints did... I would love a win over the Patriots, a win over two of the NFL's "Best teams" would put the entire league on notice that the Browns are a team that's turning around.
__________________ BROWNS 2012: We have our "New Offense" It's Put up or shut up time. Weeden gives us a QB with skills McCoy does not have. Richardson gives us a HB with abilities the Browns have not seen in decades! The message is clear, we want to score more than 13.6 PPG this year. WOOF WOOF WOOF! ![]() |
