Barring injury, I don't see how either Jake or Seneca see the field again this year. Now, we may not hear an official announcement from the coaches, but that's okay. The only thing I'm worried about is Colt has shown amazing poise and ability (like reading the defense and stuff)...but he's bound to make some mistakes. And some may be costly. The fans need to remember that he is still a rookie and mistakes are expected. I hope they don't crucify him if he makes some big ones. |

Game one he 'managed' and he suffered two interceptions (by way of tipped balls). 2nd game he managed with no mistakes. By the third game he looked more poised, made no mistakes, and started to see the field and make some plays. This is what I'm liking about him, he's improving each game, little by little. And he's a gamer. And his name is Colt.

3 game stretch?? How about a 4 game stretch.. 3 superbowl QB's in a row (no rookie QB has ever faced 3 SB winning QB's in his first 3 games) .. Pitts, Saint's, Pats... and now the Jets.. This kid is going to see a WHOLE lot thrown at him in just one month. I agree.. Roll with McCoy.. we are not going anywhere.. Colt has NEVER looked overwhelmed. He is making some plays, managing the games, throwing the ball away at the right times. >>> I see no reason whatsoever to send him back to the bench.

especially seeing after we face the jets we have a five game stretch of jags, panthers, dolphins, bills and the bengals. all winnable games

And the Browns just beat them. Bad. I think I'll continue to believe in ". . . .on any given Sunday." Every Sunday. The season's far from over.

Just some fun facts. I agree Colt starts. ----- Most Wins as a Starter by a Browns Rookie Quarterback Player Year Starts Wins Bernie Kosar 1985 10 4 Colt McCoy 2010 3 2 Charlie Frye 2005 5 2 Tim Couch 1999 15 2 Milt Plum 1953 3 2 Eric Zeier 1995 4 1 Don Gault 1970 1 1 Brian Sipe 1974 4 1 Colt has the potential to start 11 games. Oh, and of the 2010 QB draft class, which also included Bradford, Tebow, and Claussen, who has the best QB rating to date? You got it.

Can I play the QB guru??? Please??? He doesn't spin the ball well... He has a noodle arm... He never played under center... If you have half a brain you could see that he was drafted to be the backup... Did I do OK???
