Teams are going to start zone blocking this UFO type stuff. Ray Ventrone playing essentially DE in many formations can be blocked by a good running team, they just have to stay disciplined and block their gaps. Ryan needs to make some more adjustments and not rely totally on that.

Have you all seen anyone else run this type of defense? I mean, besides shittsburg after they copied it off us?

The Browns had some success with the same type of thing on O as well (the Stuckey trick play) and it would be cool to see more of that too.

Well , Revis was pretty much ineffective.

We didn't contain Tomlinson.

We got SOME pressure pressure on Sanchez but it really didn't matter.

We did pound the rock with Hillis but WE NEED A CHANGE OF PACE BACK. If we are in position to get Ingram they I would be ecstatic.

We matched well against the Pats on Defense. Their offense was not a run first power offense. if you look at the last two games where the defense has looked very good, it was against teams with great QBs but average running games. That allows Ryan to play mad scientist DC much more often.

I think the jets are much better at running the ball which may give us some issues.

I also think the jets defense is better than the Patriots.

We can and will win this game, but it will be a hard fought one.

I usually don't do this, but this game played out almost exactly as I thought it would. Except for the us winning part.
