Lobby for Browns in neutral TV markets!

Hey all,

I'm fed up with the Browns not getting featured in neutral markets like mine and I want your help to get the Browns on free TV more often. (Check out www.the506.com to see which stations are showing which games.)

I'm asking for everyone's help to start to change this by taking a second to email your local affiliates to switch to the Browns game. I'll be posting an email in this thread each week that you all can copy and paste and send to a neutral market affiliate.

It may be too late for this weekend, but I'm trying anyway because almost ALL neutral markets are showing the 2-6 Bungles vs. the 5-3 Colts and IT IS PISSING ME OFF.

The Jets-Browns game is objectively a better game in every respect (record, story lines, potential impact) and both teams are arguably more popular in more places. The only reason the Colts are on is Manning and that is a ridiculous reason to watch this piss poor game.

So help me out. Let's fight back. Take a second, look at the map above, pick your neutral affiliate or one near you. (Or, if you REALLY want to help a brotha out, go to WRAL.com - Raleigh News, Weather, Triangle Traffic and NC Lottery and get the Browns on in Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC.)

Enough's enough. Time to reintroduce the nation to Browns Backers power.

Please consider switching your NFL game this Sunday to the New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns.

The reason for switching is simple: Jets vs. Browns is a better match-up, between better teams, with more at stake and with the bonus of the drama between of the former Jets coach who is the current Browns coach.

Nickers sadly is correct. I've tried this route before with zero success. We get one of three teams here each week. Either the Stoolers game then as the alternative you get the Pats or the Colts. NFL doesn't give a shit, they want everyone cheering for the Stools or Patsies.

Well, I got a reply from my local affiliate and they say you have to request a change 12 days out.

So I requested every late season game except Buffalo. Can't hurt, right?

As for the NFL wanting us to cheer for the same teams, that's about the only explanation for why CIN-IND is on in most markets this week. Pathetic.

I haven't seen a Cleveland Brown game this season on TV in UK. I think I seen one or two last season. I just watch it via online.
