I couldn't agree with you more Nickers! If Mangini gets fired it's because of Daboll's ineptness! Six turnovers should win you any game. I guess I'm just pissed off as well.

Well...I won't go so far as firing anyone but I'm shocked that we couldn't do more with those turnovers too. I know Cribbs was out and that was pointed out last week as a "limiting" factor for the offense. But you know what? That's bullshit. Cribbs is a great player and a valuable part of the O but you CANNOT plan the entire offense on one or two players (Cribbs and Hillis). You have to make adjustments if the other team shuts either of them down. I did not watch the game, but from the few highlights I saw, Colt still did marginally well for a rookie, didn't he? A couple of close ones but overall not too bad. This was probably his worst game so far and is more what you'd expect from a rookie. Any word on if he's really injured or just a minor thing? And...I'm disappointed in our D. Yeah, they got the TO's but they also allowed a lot of big plays. Like they have late in the game all season. It has to stop. Maybe, just maybe, someone is considering other options and allowing Rob Ryan to go be a HC somewhere else. (I can't believe I'm thinking that....must be the anger) |

| Colt did fine Hiway. The line was just off. St. Clair was his normal self and Lavaou struggled. Thomas let a guy blow right by him on one of the sacks and Mack was outmatched by that massive nose guard. McCoy was 17 out of 28 for 241 yards with a TD pass and 1 INT (which was at the end of the game when he was trying to make things happen on the final drive). Quarterback rating of 86. He also rushed for 40 yards on a bum ankle. He played pretty tough. He's just a pup and the Jacksonville defense was killing our O-line. With no timeouts, he had us down to the 15 yard line (starting from our own 20) until Watson failed to catch the final pass and they intercepted it. It was nice pass all things considered. It looks like we wouldn't of had time to run up and spike the ball anyway. He could of played better I suppose, but I sure didn't have the impression we lost because of him. He had some great passes. The TD pass to Hilllis was all gristle. The 39 yard pass to Moore was a pure QB's touch pass.

We are on our way home from the game & I must say Dabol blew it again. 3:26 left in the game and it's obvious from the 3 runs up the middle that all he was shooting for was a field goal! Over 3#%*#**minutes left, no time outs & Dabol wants to settle for 3!! Other than that no imagination being used in the play calling once again, making it tough for our line to block. Wr's need I say more! Hillis is awesome, but you need more to win games. My hats off to the D in the TO category. I hope Wright is ok, but think Hayden earned his shot at starting. If wright was in I'm afraid they would have scored more. Other than TO's the D looked flat & gave up too much at the wrong times. Loved being there, fire Dabol & we may win more games Mywarrior |

Welcome to the board Mywarrior! ![]() And thanks Ocon! In the highlights I watched, it was obvious Jax's D was just killing us. I didn't realize they were that good on D. Hell, I think we had it easier against the Jets and they supposedly have a top ranked D. Teams are really game planning and targeting Hillis now and he may have a minor setback. It seemed like he got stuffed some, but I guess that would be on the O-line too. I have no doubt he will keep moving mountains, but we do still need to do more than just RUN the ball. If Colt were DA, then yeah, I can understand the idea of run-run-run-punt. But Colt seems to be able to deliver...we should see more variety and passing and mixing it up. |

| Highway it also looked like Colt hurt his ankle on one of those sacks so he didn't look 100% healthy. This also could have been the reason that Daboll didn't open it up? After think about it I think Jacksonville figured our offense out. They were stacking the box and daring Colt to throw it to our WR, and since we have no true starting caliber WR they shut us down. It's more apparant that WR's have to be one of the top priorities in the offseason especially after this game.

I thought our O line had their worst game of the year by far. Knowing this, why the hell did Daboll call dunning play after running play right up the gut for 1-2 yards a pop? I was watching the game thinking it looks like Daboll is trying to run out the clock...Halfway through the 3rd quarter! WTF was the game plan today? Even after all the dismal play calling we were in a position to win until our defense forgot how to tackle on the short screen to Jones-Drew where he took it nearly 65 yards to the one yard line with less than a minute left in the game. This loss was way worse than last week, they let one slip away. |
