Digital Sports network is attempting to save sports talk in Cleveland. This is the Plain Dealers response to the horror that we in Cleveland are forced to endure known as WKNR.

There is a possibility we may form a sort of partnership with DSN. They advertise our excellent community here from time to time, and possibly set up a segment or two for us on the air, and we in turn encourage our highly intelligent members here to listen to these guys, and contribute to their shows whenever you possibly can.

They have both a video feed, and audio only feed ...I've set up both for you below. They also have a live Java chat on their page, however I can't get it to work yet though our forum here, but I will continue to work with them on making it happen ...if indeed we do move forward with this. Also, below the streams, you'll find their daily schedule. I listen to these guys almost every day now ...it's a young endeavor, and they're only going to get better. You're helping us by helping them.

As Dan suggested, please make your chat name something like "BarkingHard.com - Dan", as our members generally stick out as very intelligent commentators and often get read on the air. This helps our community grow. I will directly embed the chat function here if I can get DSN to work with me on it.-

I've listened to DSN almost every day since they started broadcasting. Sure in the hell beats listening to Rush Lumberg and Glennis Beck!!!

I listen & enter their Chat to help promote this site...NO registration required ...just choose a screen name...I usually choose "BarkingHard.com Dan".

You can send PRIVATE chat there by HIGHLIGHTING a member name & click send in the regular message box.

Also, you can listen ON THE GO, atleast I can on my Droid, ...trick is once you go to cleveland.com/dsn, go to the bottom of the page and click "view Full site"...than go to the DSN page and it streams on my Droid.

Thanks for the tip, I wasn't sure if it was possible yet or not. If it streams on your Droid it should stream on my Palm.

Works in the same way for the iPhone. iPad doesn't require the full-site step.

If you go to another window, you can continue to surf while the audio plays in the background.

That's good. I noticed, on my Droid, that the DSN window needs to be "on top" and the screen ON to get audio.

BTW, they just started the Browns pre-game Show!

Just got done listening to Chuck and Harry....what a couple of boneheads and that's not a compliment!!! Boom sounds like that dickhead announcer from pukesburg who died a couple of years ago. I LOVE listening to idiots .....that's why I listen to Glen Beck. I'll make sure to tune in again for a good laugh. You've just got to love trolls.....in a hateful way...lol!!!

Have to say I agree. Listened for about 10 min and had to bail out on them. They were very irritated by the caller, who really seemed like a calm and reasonable guy. It left me aggravated, an emotion I'd rather not volutarily experience.

I'll give it another time or two to make a final judgement, but my first impression was pretty poor.
