His Y/A did go up this year. You are right on the TDs. That was my bad. I still think today he is buyer beware. He's be better served to stay another year in college imo.
I don't disagree that he shows flashes of DA at times, but I just think he's a lot more accurate than people want to give him credit for.

Unfortunately, the tag of "strong arm" often gets paired up with "inaccurate", which isn't true in my watching of Mallett.

I think he'd be best coming out. He's going to lose his LT, most likely his WR in Childs, and his top TE in D.J. Williams. Two 30+ yard seasons and improving statistics for the most part. I don't think his stock will be higher.

But he could use a little bit more work.

I wonder how different this year would have been if locker came out last year

We'd probably have sam bradford right now

I was thinking about that earlier this week. It'd really depend on which QB the Rams fell in love with. I think they still would have taken Bradford, though. But Locker would have went Top 5, and we could have ended up with Berry instead of Haden, IMO.

Locker could have ended up in Washington or Seattle. But I think this year's exposed some weaknesses that show it would have been a mistake for a team to take him that high...or at least would have been an extremely risky move.
