I am bummed Colt cannot play Pickle head to head too... but I am also curious to see what this offense will do with a true veteran...The last time Jake was healthy (first 1/2 of week one) we did not know what we had in Hillis and our defense was still testing it's sea legs with a lot of new starters.. So It will be interesting to see what we look like with Delhomme... I just hope he does not try to do TOO much against his old team to make a point and screw it up in the process...But Jake does not seem like ...that guy.. I just want a win.

Delhomme, in the first half before the injury, put up 14 points and had the following stats: 10/16, 101 yds, TD He completed 4 to his WR's, 3 to his TE's, and 3 to his RB's. In other words, he was spreading the ball around and moving the offense. I hope he comes back in and does it again...even though I also hope that Colt is back in the saddle next week.

What if Jake plays well and wins a couple games before Colt is healed - is Colt going to be the starter again?

| That is a good question; I think it depends on much time it takes McCoy to heal. If he is ready to go in two weeks than I think he becomes the starter again, but if it's longer than I think Delhomme keeps it until next year.
