What REALLY sucks is Billy Yates was really playing some really good football per Brian Baldinger's highlights of the NE game. He showed a 15 yard drive block on one of the NE LBers as well as some of the enormous daylight provided inside on other big gainers.
I truely believe injuries caught up with us vrs the 8-9 men in the box last week. Without Cribbs at least creating some degree of worry on the perimeter, Jax could camp both safeties in the box. WITH Cribbs, KC tried to cheat both Safeties in the box and Cribbs beat them deep for a TD. Who is that replacement today? I know we like to tar and feather every single OC we've had to date - but sometimes you have to understand they would LOVE to have WRs to throw the ball to. Where's the favorable matchups to exploit when opponents aren't finding our WRs worthy helping their corners? Classic example is Santonio Holmes providing the Jets with BIG plays from someone
other than Dustin Keller for a change; and he's got 3 TDs in just 2 weeks. We just have Watson & Moore until various situations allow us to see Stuckey. Stuckey has shown me the most improvement of the young WRs this year. He should start over Robiskie and we should consider Moore as the slot receiver. I'm also confident MoMass can play better if we get a legit #1 on the other side.
Alo's mention of AJ Green sounds better and better every time I hear it! The neat thing about that idea is that he and MoMass combined for 20 TDs Green's freshman year at Georgia. That's a pretty good combo with chemistry for Colt McCoy next year.
