I can't wait to hear all week how the coaches almost cost us this game too.

Miami's got some nice talent on D. The Browns need 1 more win to get where I thought in my heart of hearts they would be, 2 more wins to actually achieve what I predicted.

Against this schedule all I can say is ....wow.

I'd have to go back and look but I think I predicted 7-9 in the pre-season. We didn't win the games I expected us too all the time. But this season has gone about how I expected, and honestly I am thrilled. When you can turn in every weekend EXCITED to watch this team COMPETE and not just play. That is such a refreshing thing. Next year we'll be tuning in to watch them WIN.

Not to derail your thread but I was on the 7-9 to 8-8 train myself.

there's no derailing this thread LOL it wasn't exactly a well put together OP to begin with!

I'm just happy to see another win so that we are one game closer to not having to worry about who our coach is next year and we can start concentrating on how much better we'll be.

Funny.. I again saw poor execution, stupid penalties, missed tackle, a missed field goal, and inability to stop the run ..nearly cost us the game.. I did not see the coaches do any of those things..that was all on the players.

I did however see very good overall pass defense.. and excellent job on our punt team.. We also played a pretty good game of field position..and that is a ++ for the coaches.. in games where scores are so precious like this one..field position is critical.

Not to mention.. Miami is pretty darn good. Considering I thought we would get our butts kicked and lose by 14..I can't complain too loudly considering WE WON THE GAME.. even with our constantly revolving door of QB's.

(I hated some offensive play calls..but that's all on daboll... not on the coaching staff as a whole.)

Cracks me up,
All last week sitting in the stands I could tell when Shaun Rogers came into the game(hard to miss) On his sack I watched him line up and then get out of his stance and back up and I leaned over to my brother and said "why is he standing?"then they hiked the ball and in a flash he sacked the QB,lol!
He isn't healthy all that often and I'm sure his weight has alot to do with it but it is a give and take because when he is in the game he really is special.
Imagine 350 pounds rushing at you, holy hell that must be scary!!!
Like I say the man doesn't play every down but you cant take away his blocked field goal attempt and his grabbing Henne by the foot because without that tackle Miami had a first down,he really does make a difference.
Mad love for Haden as he blossomed today but Big Baby is a whole Lotta man in his own right!

Somebody will give the coaching staff props for the halftime adjustments on offense seeing as the 'Phins stifled Hillis in the first half.

Holmgren must be pissed Mangini has survived. Considering reports he had his walking papers with him when the game winning fieldgoal was missed by the Panthers last week went astray.

I doubt Mangini can get lucky against league dormats the Bills and Bengals. He loses at least one of those.

Can you show me an actual link to any one of those reports?

Not only do I believe Holmgren wants Mangini to suceed. I am very sure holmgren would not leak anything like that DURING a season.
