BS. That dude was not going to be a part of this team no matter what his $$$ number was. He sucked and Holmgren didn't want anything to do with that pathetic QB. The contract is the reason DA is gone? I don't buy that for one second. His play is the reason he is gone, and AZ just found that out didn't they?

DA was gone..they held on to him until the financial hit was minimized due to some nfl timeline..but he was gone no matter what.. the fans would have torn down the stadium if they kept him.

But DA was due over 7M in 2010 if we would have retained him. He was most likely gone regardless of his cap number, but his number was the biggest decision in saying goodbye.

It was probably the biggest reason they gave him when they sat him down to tell him he was shit canned. A humane move by Mr. Holmgren as to not completely obliterate his already shattered confidence....

ZERO td's and 1 int..

was 1 of 11 on 3rd down.
That is pathetic, thank God we don't suffer week to week with big foot anymore. The sad thing is there were people defending his abysmal games like that in Cleveland saying we didn't have the talent for DA to throw to, he has some of the best now but his numbers are still horrible.

So you are saying that his play on the field was good enough to keep him? Really? That's you story? It was about the money? .. Wow..

I think if they only paid him 59 cents... he still would have been fired. because he sucks. ... but if that's your story.. Ok..

He was out no matter what, but there was no hesitance thanks to the cap number.
