Default Deuce Gruden(wtf?): Chucky still possibly heading to... Cleveland?!

Quote:
Son of Gruden spills the beans on coaching plans Posted by Mike Florio on December 6, 2010, 1:21 PM EST

There’s a growing belief that former Raiders and Bucs coach Jon Gruden will return to the NFL in 2011. As his son, Deuce (really?), tells it, Gruden may be targeting 2012.
Via The Big Lead, Deuce Gruden appeared on the Sporting Rave podcast, and Deuce said that the family could be heading for San Fran or Cleveland.
“He was going to let me finish high school,” Deuce Gruden said. “They were talking about going to San Francisco, but that’ll probably be in the next two years . . . or maybe Cleveland.”
The problem is that the San Fran and Cleveland jobs may not be open come 2012. So the Grudens may have to move now, if a job becomes available, if the price offered is right, if he gets the power he seeks, and if there’s enough labor progress to make the 49ers or the Browns willing to risk Gruden’s first year being hampered by a truncated offseason.

Sorry,
The only possible coaching job on the line is Dabs and I even doubt that.
Chucky and his inherited ring will have plenty of towns to go to and Cleveland isn't in the plans,I'll take all bets on this one.

Nobody ever listens to me, Mangini's days are numbered no matter how well the team does.

Holmgren even said that the record will not be the determining factor

Im sure one of those factors is John Grudens availability.

You guys forget that Gruden is good friends with Holmgren, and that Gruden pimped THE SHIT out of Mccoy during his QB camp thing on TV

So we have a gruden mccoy connection, a gruden holmgren connection, and a homgren mccoy connection

We now have changed the culture (which we basically used Mangini for) and we have a great defense led by ROB RYAN (the guy who the players REALLY rally around, and the guy IMHO responsible for our wins)

We know that Daboll is gone, our offense is better this year but still anemic when it comes to passing, which is what Holmgren is all about

sooner or later, Mangini is gone

He's spilling daddies beans and getting daddies name out there for him. It's an unfortunate reality that head coaches cannot namedrop teams like that, it's assholeish AND it could get them into trouble. Having your son drop names though? No fines and you technically didn't do the deed.

Nobody ever listens to you because you get irrational and fall in love with your opinions and picks more than you love the sport.
There is no debate with you,if you think Mangini is gone than I know he is staying and you can take that and dez's broken ankle to the bank.

Gee I heard all these same things last off season. "MANGINI is for sure gone!!!! Holmgren will want his own guy! maybe Gruden!!! "

and I was the one saying. "hold on, I take Holmgren at his word and he said he believes a coach deserves more than one year to suceed."

and guess what happened? He kept Mangini didn't he?

As for the Gruden/MCCoy connection. Gruden said glowing things about Quinn too. And about 90000000000000 other QBs. Yeah that's a solid connection

Mangini WILL be the coach of the Cleveland Browns next year, if that thought bothers you, you better start getting used to it.
