I wanted Pioli over Mangini, but they clearly were the two best Belichick disciple options. McDaniels was an epic failure.

Yeah, I remember a few pushing McDumbiels as the new Browns HC candidate...never felt he had it in him. Not that I am all that smart about HC's....just didn't like him for some reason.

I can't blame him for the fire sale, heck, we did it here too. Just didn't do a very good job of replacing them...or ever stopped selling.

Gruden makes sense for Denver, given how much he loves Tebow. Obviously, that would take him off our theoretical coaching carousel.

...Which basically says..they were going to fire him in the offseason anyway. Seriously..the guy started burning the place to the ground the minute they got there chasing away thier 2 top offensive players.. Cutler (currently 9-7 with DA bears) and Brandon Marshall who has been as up and down as the QB's in Miami..

So Denver gets a jump on the interview process. They probably have had thier attorney working overtime going over his contract since the spygate 2 ...so they could find something to get rid of him.

Wait I thought he loved McCoy and that was his reason for coming here when they fire Mangini after he finishes the season a totally disapointing 8-8?????
