Default Mangini makes case for firing

Besides sticking with JD when he is really off his game and Deboll is..........Deboll.
1.The team was not prepared
2.The team had no fire
3.Mangini didn't trust his players enough to go for it which only required a simple sneak it was so close. A FG does little. I suspect he lost respect from that.

Mangini does some things well as a HC, but not enough to be successfull in the Pros at the level a team needs to be. This is what the Jets understood and why they fired him. 9-7/10-6 is probably the best he can do.

We should never have gone back to Delhomme, since the numbers clearly indicate Wallace as our BPA at that position

Mangini cannot adjust, motivate, or come from behind

Lecharles said it, much better, mangini doesnt care much for passing or stretching the field or mixing up his gameplan, so he doesnt think it needs to be done, and therefore he wont do it, he's stubborn to the core

Let's just accept that Mangini isn't our coach, and move on to bigger and better things... like Jon Gruden.

More likely Holmgren for one last push rather than Gruden, the overrated. Holmgren can keep Ryan and continue building the defense while he overhauls schemes and attitudes on the offense with McCoy.

I think this was Holmgren AND Lerner's plan all along fwiw. Mangini, though had a chance to prove his muster and make it politically impossible for it to happen, but he just keeps blowing it with his hard head.

Wondering how quickly we'd get the weekly call for a head coaching change. I'm SHOCKED it was Mack who started this thread.

Delhomme is just terrible. Hire the best coach available and he still would have had Delhomme today. NFL Redzone said he the highest paid QB this year. Is that right? It still ticks me off as his last years at Carolina are exactly what he's giving us here. "He is who we thought he is". 2 TD's, 7 INT's, and minimal addition to the offense. He ran into RB's twice, fumbled, threw a duck interception, and could only complete 2 yard passes. Good luck to ANY coach when that's what he has to work with. He would stare down his first option, and then panic through his reads, only to check-down for a few yard pass.

Come Colt. Get well.

Agree OCON, I still don't agree with those who say that and immediately go to the ' then put Wallace in train' . If anything the reluctance to go back to Wallace should show everyone this is Colts team

I'm taking a break from this place for awhile.
The same people clamoring for a new coach are the same ones who cried on draft day we didn't take Dez Bryant,so sorry we found TJ Ward.
The same people who cried when we took Haden.
The same people who have cried since 99 and continue to do the same thing over and over again expecting a different out come, you do know what they call that don't you?
