Cleveland Browns' best choice at QB is Seneca Wallace or Colt McCoy, but not Jake Delhomme

Experienced vet for Whithurst to learn from or back up QB with many less starts, and an expiring contract to learn behind? That's just common sense that you'd stick with Matt over Wallace as your bridge. It doesn't make any case for you. If SEA cut Wallace, you'd have a strong case. But all you really have is Wallace didn't have a future in SEA for any number of reasons. Obviously MH thought high enough of him to trade a draft pick to get him. SEA could have thought he was good, but not for what they wanted to do.

As to you other note on why MH wouldn't dictate down to play Wallace (and again I am only saying right now he seems to me to be the lesser of two evils between him and Jake with all the turn overs from Jake), probably because he has said from day one he won't do that. Would you want the president dictating to the HC who to play?

Jake is no longer "coming back" from Tommy John's surgery. He's three years removed from the surgery. But I do agree he has lost zip since having the surgery.

I'll take botched deep throws over no deep throws, pick sixes, and near pick sixes every day.
