Interesting.

Brown reportedly has a learning disability that makes absorbing the playbook difficult for him, but he's a super-impressive athlete. He did some special teams work during the pre-season, which showed his willingness to be a team player.

Maybe the team can turn him into a Michael Robinson type, maybe even something in the mold of Josh Cribbs.

I was just about to post about how much you like this guy Alo, he was getting alot of consideration from ALOT of people before the draft. Didn't he have a really good senior bowl or pro day or something?

Looks like a much cheaper and team oriented replacement for SW.

Since he can't learn an entire playbook just give him small packages to learn each week. Definitely a guy you want to have the ball in his hands.

If he can make our offense better, I don't care if he has a learning disability or one freaking leg. I want him on my team. Our offense is so frustrating to watch sometimes. If we had an athletic WR who can make plays, that's all we need. Who cares if he can't absorb a playbook, give him a set number of plays that he goes out there to make. Don't worry about overloading the poor guy with the whole thing at once...

Kind of like how we integrated Brian Daboll onto the team.

The message is clear, we want to score more than 13.6 PPG this year.

Great post EE! I'm still waiting for Dabolls to get to the point where the game isn't too big for him.

I lol'd so hard when I saw this.

On topic, man is that kid athletic, he would be a nice little pick up, even if it was just for ST.

Well done.

Put him at receiver. We've got a soft spot for WRs with learning disabilities. (and he's 5x the athlete of anyone we currently have at the position - Cribbs excluded)

I love the fact that Mangini continues to employ some of the old Bill B. tactics. We've already seen some of it, but keep an eye on the barrage of IR designations in the coming days. What's that, hangnail? Better get him on IR.

It's just a nice way to go into the offseason with 70+ guys under contract. You can load up on some young if-come talent, or protect a couple of practice squad players by promoting them.

In all honesty the learning disability is really the only thing that kept this guy out of round 2.

As you can see he is at times extremely accurate, powerful arm, and evades the rush like Colt, and Vick.\

He actaully does that same thing that vick does when he runs (which is dangerous) he "palms" the bal in one hand when he runs, and holds it far away from the body, its good for getting more balance and juking people out, but its bad for ball security
